Pakuma Choroka K3l review

Pakuma makes the best laptop bags hands-down. It cleverly manages to combine bags that don’t look like they’re for a laptop, while providing all the essential protection that you’ll need. With the Chrooka K3l 15.6in bag, the company has impressively managed to go one step better

Our one tiny criticism of previous Pakuma 15.6in messenger bags has been that they’re basically a big bucket of storage, with everything inside the main pouch. With the Choroka K3l, there’s some external storage. The rear pocket is great for keys or a mobile phone, while the side netted pouch can hold an umbrella or bottle. Both are easily accessible.

This is the first Pakuma messenger bag that we’ve seen with a zipped main compartment. Its sturdy zips are easy to reach and give you a feeling of additional security, plus the knowledge that nothing can fall out when you’re on the move.

Opening the compartment reveals some clever storage. First, inside the lid is a zipped net compartment that you can use for some documents or, on a day or so away, clothes. Then, at the front of the bag is a zipped net pocket. It’s a decent size, taking up pretty much the entire width of the bag. Again, it’s accessible without having to dip into the main compartment.

Inside, there’s everything that we love about Pakuma bags. The padded laptop pouch gives brilliant protection from all angles and is easy to get to, even with a bag full up. The main compartment is massive and easily big enough for everything you could want to travel with.

Inside the main compartment are an elasticated pocket, a zipped pocket and storage for pens. There’s also a separate zipped section the entire width of the bag, which also has two net pockets inside it. In other words, there’s tons of storage space to keep the contents of your bag neatly organised.

Externally the bag’s incredibly stylish, while the wide carry strap and adjustable padded section mean that it’s very comfortable to carry. We’d go as far as saying that this is the best messenger bag for 15.6in laptops that we’ve ever seen. If you need a new laptop bag, get this one.
