Amazon’s mesh Wi-Fi routers are going SUPER cheap for Black Friday
Amazon is offering money off its mesh Wi-Fi routers for Black Friday
Amazon’s own mesh Wi-Fi routers are on offer as part of the retail titan’s Black Friday offerings. If you’ve been looking to make the switch to a mesh network, this is as good an opportunity as any.
What is mesh Wi-Fi? Well, the long and short of it is that it uses a number of small routers to spread Wi-Fi evenly across your home, either in conjunction with or as a replacement for your main router. As such, you may want to buy several of them, unless you’re only looking to extend your Wi-Fi a moderate amount.
As Darien Graham-Smith writes in our full guide to mesh Wi-Fi: “These clever extensible kits cover a huge area, and since you can locate the nodes wherever you want you can be certain of getting a strong signal where it’s needed.”
The Amazon-owned Eero mesh Wi-Fi routers are now available for up to 30% cheaper. We’ve listed all of them below.
1. Single Eero mesh Wi-Fi router (now £69, was £99)
Save 30% on a single Eero mesh router: ideal if you have a relatively small living environment and are only looking to extend your Wi-Fi by a moderate amount. This covers an area of up to 140m².
2. Eero mesh Wi-Fi router 3 pack (now £179, was £249)
This three pack will replace your original router, meaning that instead of one central Wi-Fi “hub”, the signal is spread throughout the mesh network. These cover an area of up to 460m².
3. Single Eero Pro mesh Wi-Fi router (now £129, was £179)
Save £50 from the price of this single “Pro” version of the Eero mesh Wi-Fi router. Much like the standard router, but this one supports tri-band internet speeds. It covers an area of up to 160m².
4. Eero Pro mesh Wi-Fi router 3 pack (now £299, was £429)
The ultimate of Eero’s offerings, this pack of three Pro routers does a similar thing to the standard multipack, with a slightly larger maximum coverage area of 560m² and faster internet speeds.
