Spend £50 at Currys and get six months of Spotify Premium
Currys PC World is offering free Spotify Premium trials
If you’re indulging in some Black Friday shopping over the next couple of weeks, here’s an extra bonus from Currys PC World to tempt you towards its shores. The retailer is offering six months of Spotify Premium if you buy a product that costs more than £49.
There’s a broad scope of products that qualify for the deal, with Currys PC World claiming “any laptop, video game, games console, gaming accessory, tablet, smart TV smart home, smart watch or audio product”.
Excluded from that are devices from Apple and Beats, so it’s not quite “any” smart home and audio product. You’ll also need to be new to Spotify Premium and it’s worth being aware that, should you opt for the offer, Spotify will automatically renew to a subscription of £9.99 per month afterwards. You may want to set a calendar reminder to look at your Spotify settings as the six month period draws to a close.
To get the deal, head to Currys following the link below and purchase a qualifying product. That should then give you a unique code, which may be sent to you in a separate email within two weeks. You then take that code to www.spotify.com/currys, and input the code to enjoy six months of free premium.
The offer extends far beyond Black Friday, all the way until October 2020 in fact, so there’s plenty of time to take advantage of it. Now is as good a time as any, though, seeing as there’s a raft of deals on products. For example, the retailer is currently offering the Ultimate Ears Boom 2 speaker for a reduced price of £79.99 (was £129). Elsewhere, there is a very tempting Nintendo Switch bundle with the new Pokemon game, and savings on a range of TVs, such as £150 off the price of a Samsung 65in Smart 4K TV.
Expect plenty more deals to emerge over the coming days, as online retailers work themselves into a lather for the Black Friday sales period.
