The £140 includes a year of Amazon Kids+, which contains thousands of videos, books songs, audiobooks and more. If that wasn’t enough, you can also give your sprogs protected access to apps such as Disney+, Netflix and BBC iPlayer. This is done via the Parent Dashboard, which also lets you limit screen time, set age filters and restrict approval for any in-app purchases.
The tablet itself comes with 32GB of storage as standard, although you can expand that up to a gargantuan 1TB using a microSD. Elsewhere, the Full HD screen is 2in bigger and 10% brighter than the previous model, as well as being crafted from robust aluminium silicate glass.
