Surface Pro 7 at lowest EVER price in Black Friday deal
The Surface Pro 7 is now seriously cheap in Amazon sale: an exceptional price for an exceptional device
I’m not kidding when I say that this Surface Pro 7 deal is the sort of thing we usually only see when Black Friday begins in earnest. Right now at Amazon, you can nab two of the five available Surface Pro 7 models for cheaper than ever, with savings of up to £290 available on Microsoft’s powerful tablet. It’s not often I gush over a deal on a Microsoft tablet, but this one warrants it.
The cheapest Surface Pro 7 (Intel i3 processor, 4GB of RAM, 128GB of storage) is now available for just £630, down from £799 – that’s cheaper than the all-time low Amazon set on Prime Day. Meanwhile, one of the two high-spec models (with an Intel i7, 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage) is going for £1,159, down from £1,449. So whether you’re looking for a bargain on a lightweight web-browsing machine or a high-performing, multitasking device, there’s something here for you.
Of course, unless you’re planning on working on your new Surface Pro 7, we’d recommend nabbing the low-spec model; after all, for £630 you’re essentially getting a premium product for a budget price.
We awarded the Surface Pro 7 four stars when we reviewed it. Our head of reviews Jonathan Bray points out that it retains the best features of its predecessor, the Surface Pro 6, and although it doesn’t add much to the formula, that isn’t necessarily a bad thing:
“Although the design is now looking a little stale and staid, it’s proven and still the best implementation of a detachable 2-in-1 tablet/laptop hybrid we’ve seen. Its large 12.3in screen is spacious and practical and its integrated kickstand lets you prop it up at whatever angle you like. The hybrid’s keyboard is both lightweight and very pleasant to use, too.”
As he says, it’s still an excellent tablet, with a gorgeous 2,736 x 1,824 display and more than enough grunt under the hood for normal use (so long as you don’t toy with Photoshop in your spare time).
Use the Surface Pro 7 as a web-browsing tablet, or nab a cheap Type Cover (like this one from Arteck) and turn it into a proper on-the-go email-answering movie-watching laptop. Either way, at these prices you can’t go wrong.
