LogMeIn Pro review

LogMeIn Pro is licensed on a subscription-based Software As A Service (SAAS) model. LogMeIn Free is great for basic remote control and lets you add up to 10 computers. LogMeIn Pro is much more comprehensive and flexible. You can pay £8.99 to use it on one computer for one month or a £35 to use it on one computer for a year, which is better value. If you’ve got a small business with five employees working on systems in various locations, you can have 5-PC access for £149 per year, which works out to be around £30 per PC, up to 25-PC access, which costs £629 annually. That works out be around £25 per PC.

You can make a single LogMeIn Pro account go further by moving it between computers. You can do this via the web interface by downgrading a computer running LogMeIn Pro to Free and then upgrading a compute running Free to Pro. As long as the systems in question are online, their status will be updated automatically within a few minutes of you making the changes via the web interface. While this isn’t an ideal solution for most businesses, it could be a good solution if you have only a couple of PCs. LogMeIn Pro is a great tool, especially if you often work from home.
