Even better than the last version, but not enough has changed to justify an upgrade

[/vc_column_text]

True Image Home 2012 also gives you an easy way to migrate your system to a new PC, even it has completely different hardware to your old system. The software gives you the option of creating a boot CD or USB flash drive, and you boot the PC into a graphical recovery environment. You can then choose the image from your other PC and back it up to your new PC’s hard disk. We were confused at first as the software labelled the external disk containing the backup C and the internal disk E, which was the opposite way round to what we were expecting. However, once we’d worked this out the installation worked without a hitch, and we soon had our old operating system running on a new PC. Even the applications worked perfectly.

With True Image 2012, Acronis has improved on an already excellent application. The interface improvement and the addition of file sync do not really justify an upgrade, particularly as the file sync requires a software licence for each PC, but True Image Home 2012 is nonetheless an excellent application.
