Best antivirus deals: Multi-device protection at rock-bottom prices ahead of Black Friday
Secure all your devices from viruses, ransomware and malware for cheap with these amazing Black Friday antivirus deals
We’re still a few days from Black Friday, but most major products have already slashed their prices. Antivirus solutions – software that will protect the devices you buy or own – are the latest to get in on the act with some amazing deals and discounts ahead of the biggest day of sales in the year.
Given the world we live in today, device security is of paramount importance but something that’s often taken for granted. Big companies who spend billions of dollars on security get hacked all the time, so you can only imagine how easy it must be for expert hackers to gain access to our devices and often easy-to-guess passwords.
That’s where a good antivirus service will act as a robust shield of armour, protecting all of your devices against all these online threats so you can browse, shop or stream safely online.
Most of the antivirus products on this list protect multiple devices, which means that you can secure your PC, Mac, Android phone, tablet, iPhone and iPad. Antivirus software has come a long way throughout the years and, unlike earlier, they don’t slow your devices anymore.
The best thing about these deals is that you can secure your devices for up to a year and, in some cases, even more. Even better, when your deal expires next year, there will be another Black Friday deal so you can top it up again. That’s the good part of taking out a yearly antivirus subscription on or around Black Friday.

The best antivirus deals ahead of Black Friday 2019
1. Bitdefender Internet Security 2020 for £20 (was £50)
Protects three devices for a year
Among all the antivirus products we’ve reviewed, Bitdefender Internet Security ranks at the very top as the best “set and forget” antivirus solution. In the last antivirus test we conducted, it was the only AV with a 100% record against both known and zero-day threats. Bitdefender Internet Security also has welcome additions, including webcam and microphone protection to stop others eavesdropping on your calls.
2. BullGuard Internet Security for £99 (was £150)
Protects three devices for three years
If you’re looking for a long-term multi-device antivirus solution, look no further than BullGuard’s offering. As well as real-time protection, BullGuard’s suite includes its own firewall and a safe browsing component to keep you away from phishing and scammy links on search engines and social media websites. There’s also a parental solution to keep an eye on what your kids are up to online, but its best feature is a backup client that integrates with any cloud storage solution, so you can protect all your valuable data provided you have some free storage knocking about.
3. Norton 360 Standard for £30 (was £80)
Protects five devices for a year
In terms of price, Norton’s offering is up there with the very best. In our tests, Norton’s malware detection tools proved to be flawless and it was also one of the fastest AV suites on the market. Additional extras include a disk defragmenter and clean-up tool but one of the more impressive ones was a start-up manager tool that gives you detailed information about each startup item, including when it was installed on your PC and how many other Norton users are using it.
4. Kaspersky Internet Security for £36 (was £45)
Protects three devices for a year
In our recent tests, Kaspersky Internet Security blocked 100% of malware of all types and was one of the fastest and most thorough antivirus solutions. An added perk is that it also plays nice with Windows’ built-in Windows Defender. It has bank-grade encryption to secure all your online transactions and an in-built encryption tool to ensure everything you do online is completely anonymous. Android devices users will also be pleased to know it detects and eliminates spyware on your device.
5. McAfee Antivirus for £45 (was £90)
Protects ten devices for a year
McAfee is a name that many people will be familiar with because it has been in the antivirus solution business for ages now. Among all the antivirus products we’ve reviewed, we noticed that McAfee has the least impact on device performance. While McAfee’s brilliant ten-device solution has web protection, a browser plugin and a custom firewall, it doesn’t offer ransomware protection with this package, although that’s offered as its own standalone solution.
