Seagate's 500GB Freeagent Go is quick and reasonably priced, but there's little to set it apart from the competition.
Good-looking, relatively speedy and with decent backup software, this is a good-value 1.5TB disk.
Seagate's Dockstar is designed specifically for accessing your files remotely rather than for local file sharing, so it's not for everyone.

Seagate's BlackArmor NAS is fast, has plenty of storage and is good value.
