The Samsung Galaxy S22 is at its LOWEST PRICE EVER on Amazon
The Samsung Galaxy S22 it at its lowest price ever, thanks to a massive £159 price drop
Released in the first quarter of 2022, the trio of new Samsung Galaxys – the S22, the S22 Ultra, and the S22 Plus – impressed Android fans with their solid specs and sleek design. Despite their relatively recent release, the triumvirate are currently enjoying noteworthy discounts on Amazon, making this the perfect time to snag a top of the line smartphone at a sizable discount.
In our initial hands-on review, we called the S22 the perfect blend of must-have functionality and affordability at its debut price of £769. This current cluster of deals see a sim-free 128GB version of the phone retailing at its lowest ever Amazon price, now just £593, a £159 price drop from its average Amazon price of £752. The good news doesn’t stop there either, as its larger-screened and more powerful cousins, the S22 Plus and the S22 Ultra, are also significantly discounted. A 128GB Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra retails at £1,113 on average on Amazon, and is also cheaper than ever on the website, currently sitting at £921. If screen real estate is paramount, then your best bet may be to pick up a 256GB S22 Plus, available now for just £847, down roughly £100 from its initial review price of £949.
Notable physical tweaks we highlighted in the S22 compared to previous models were its aesthetically pleasing design, more durable casing and protective glass, as well as its restrained and comfortable size, which rendered it perfect for using one handed and slipping into smaller pants pockets and bags. Also of note were its new algorithmic “Vision Booster” tech for improving visual clarity based on lighting and surroundings, its increased battery efficiency and powerful new Exynos 2200 chipset.
While the S22 is cheaper, and the Ultra is more powerful, the obvious notable perk of the S22 Plus is its 6.7in QHD+ screen, which handily outstrips the S22’s 6.1in FHD+ in terms of size and quality. The S22 Plus also has a larger battery than the regular S22, which is worth taking into consideration.
The Galaxy S22 Ultra was seen, upon release, as something of a merger between the Galaxy S-line phones and the smartphone-tablet hybrid Galaxy Note series. Coming with the excellent S-pen and a range of stylus friendly features, the S22 Ultra also has a crisp 6.8in AMOLED display; a main 108MP sensor camera as well as improved zoom, ultrawide and selfie lenses; and a fast charging, 5,000mAh battery. One of our few negative notes on the S22 Ultra was its fairly hefty price, but with these impressive discounts that black mark can be taken off its record.
