Save £250 on a Samsung Galaxy S20 5G
Black Friday offer from Amazon on the Samsung Galaxy S20 with 5G connectivity
Amazon has stripped a sizable £250 chunk from the price of the Samsung Galaxy S20 handset, bringing it down to £649 as part of the online retailer’s Black Friday offerings.
That price will get you a 5G model of the handset with 128GB storage. It’s a good deal on an outstanding phone, which we awarded four stars in our review, calling it Samsung’s “best-value flagship yet”.
The Samsung Galaxy S20 comes with a crisp 6.2in, 120Hz Infinity display, powered by an Exynos 990 processor with 8GB of RAM. You’ll also get a trio of camera lenses – a 12-megapixel (f/1.8) camera, 12-megapixel (f/2.2) ultrawide and a 64-megapixel (f/3.5) telephoto zoom sensor, as well as a solid 4,000 mAh battery.
“The Galaxy S20 is one of Samsung’s most fully-featured flagship launches,” wrote our reviewer, Nathan Spendelow. “It may be the cheapest of Samsung’s newborn trio, but it offers much the same experience as the S20 Ultra with a £500 saving.”
Indeed, you may want to check out the Samsung S20 Ultra as an alternative, as it also has a reduction on Amazon – down from £1,199 to £1,020. There’s still a big gap between the prices of the two handsets, though, so unless you’re willing to spend more than a grand, the Galaxy S20 may be a more appealing prospect, particularly at its current Black Friday price.
