Samsung’s plus-sized smartphone can now be picked up for as little as £500
Amazon Prime Day has arrived to thunderous applause. There are already hundreds of exceptional discounts across a wide range of products that are ready and waiting for your wallet, but this Samsung Galaxy Note 9 deal is simply too good to pass up.

Samsung’s venerable phablet, which launched in August last year, has seen price drops on during Amazon’s two-day savings event. The 512GB model is on sale for only £595 – astonishing value for money when you consider it initially launched at £1,099.
Much like the phone that came before it, the Galaxy Note 9 is a plus-sized phablet that comes equipped with Samsung’s own S Pen stylus for on-the-go note-taking. This dinky stylus has been given a new breath of life with extra features such as the ability to remotely control the camera shutter via Bluetooth.
It’s also a very big phone – the HDR 10-certified screen measures 6.4in from corner to corner – and the Note 9’s internal specifications are vastly improved, too. The fancy dual aperture camera is also capable of automatically adapting to light levels in your environment, narrowing and widening depending on how much light is detected by the sensor.

You have to be an Amazon Prime member to benefit from these discounts, though. If you aren’t already signed up, Amazon has dropped the price of its annual Prime membership for a limited time, costing only £59 rather than the usual £79, provided you sign up before 16 July. This also includes existing benefits such as next-day delivery and access to exclusive Prime Video content.
