Nike has tweaked the upper to make it more breathable for those hot, summer runs, too: the spongy laces and nicely padded tongue sit snug on the top of the foot to boost comfort. One thing that hasn’t changed, however, is the waffle-style outsole. It’s still best suited to roads, but there’s just enough grip to handle some light off-road jaunts.
