VeryPC Glide Touch review

The Glide Touch has a good selection of ports, but most of them are hidden away on the bottom of the PC on its rear panel. This makes them very difficult to find and use, but you get four USB3 ports, two HDMI ports, a DisplayPort, a Gigabit Ethernet port, and separate headphone and microphone jacks. You’ll want to take advantage of these, as its integrated speakers are quite thin and tinny despite having huge amounts of volume. Luckily, there are a few ports on the side of the PC that are much easier to reach, and these include two USB2 ports, a multi-format card reader, another pair of headphone and microphone jacks, and a DVD optical drive.

It’s a shame the faster USB3 ports aren’t located on the side of the PC like the more convenient USB ports, as you’ll need to lose one USB port to use the bundled wireless Accuratus mouse and keyboard. The mouse is much flatter than your typical mouse and needs a click before it wakes up, but it’s perfectly responsive once you get used to its size. The keyboard goes in the opposite direction with overly large keys, but they’ll still sensibly spaced and give plenty of tactile feedback.

The VeryPC Glide Touch is a great all-in-one PC. It’s one of the most powerful 24in systems we’ve tested, making it an excellent alternative to larger all-in-ones, such as the Dell XPS 27. The cheaper Scan 3XS Mirage AIO245 is better value for playing games, but if you want a capable system that can handle anything you throw at it, the Glide Touch is for you.
