NZXT H440 review
A stylish case that’s ideal for those who value neatness
The power supply is hidden from view by some neat casing, on top of which are two more mounting points for 2.5in drives. There’s plenty of extra space within this casing, though, which makes easy work of hiding your cables. If you value neatness and good cable management in your PC, you’ll love the NZXT H440. There are three wide grommets through which you can route cables on the side of the case and three on the bottom.
When we first looked inside the H440 our first impression was that it would be hard to work in, but that isn’t the case. There’s plenty of room for your hands and there no sharp edges to lacerate your wrists and fingers. You get plenty of room for graphics cards as standard, up to 294mm. Remove a drive bay or two and you get up to 406mm.
The NZXT is a beautiful case, and it’s a joy to work with. We’re nit-picking, but we don’t like the thumbscrews, as they feel cheap, which is completely out of keeping with the rest of the case. Some of the screws also proved awkward to remove and wouldn’t thread back in easily. Even so, if you value neatness and you’re looking for a stylish case, you should buy the NZXT H440.
