AMD A10-7850K review
Strong 2D performance and impressive 3D graphics make this a perfect base for a budget PC
Another novel feature of the A10-7850K is AMD’s True Audio technology. This takes the form of a programmable on-die digital signal processor that allows audio engineers to develop realistic and multi-directional sound that’s processed in real-time in tandem with graphics and output over HDMI. We have yet to experience a game or program that makes use of TrueAudio, so we’re unable to comment on its performance.
When we first reviewed the A10-7850K, it was difficult to recommend over the cheaper A10-6800K. However, recent price changes mean the A10-7850K is now much more competitive. It’s a great-performing chip with onboard graphics that will let you play modern games at 1080p resolutions, and it outperforms the competition from Intel in both applications and games for the price. It’s the perfect processor for a budget PC and a Best Buy.
