Looking for a cheap phone deal this Christmas? The OnePlus Nord 2 is now just £230 at Amazon, a staggering new low for the midrange Android handset. In our full OnePlus Nord 2 review, we gave the phone five stars and a Best Buy award, praising its battery life, performance and rear camera – in other words, the three most important features of any good smartphone.

The Nord 2 has a gorgeous 6.43in AMOLED display and uses an unusual Mediatek processor that surprised us by delivering some of the best results in its price range. It ran for a whopping 22 hours and 26 minutes in our battery life tests, which was twice as long as the battery life on the popular iPhone SE and an excellent result overall. Add in some fantastic stills photography courtesy of a beefy 50MP main camera and it’s clear why we gave the handset top marks.

OnePlus has always been good at delivering maximum impact for a minimal price tag, and the Nord 2 exemplifies this particularly well – especially at an all-time low price of £230 this Christmas.
