Grab the Honor 90 Lite for less
Admittedly, this isn’t the best deal we’ve seen this Prime Day, but the Honor 90 Lite has dropped to £199. That’s about £10 or so off the average price, which isn’t huge, but this small saving represents even better value for one of 2023’s best-value handsets.

This phone deal is better than Nothing
We’ve got another Nothing deal for you. If your buying budget can’t quite stretch to the Nothing Phone (2) listed below – even at this new discounted price – then you might want to consider the mid-range Nothing Phone (1) instead.
Our favourite value phone of last year, the Nothing Phone (1) is currently priced at just £289, down from an average price of £368. That’s the cheapest we’ve ever seen, too.

An AWESOME Samsung Galaxy A34 bargain
We’ve featured a Samsung phone previously today, but this one is much, much cheaper. The Samsung Galaxy A34 is a fraction of the price of the Z Fold 5 we featured earlier, at just £299. That’s a huge £100 off.
Admittedly, this is one of the few phones we haven’t reviewed, but we did check it out in a hands-on session earlier in the year. At the time, we called it “something rather special”, with Samsung doing a “stand-out job with the overall look and feel of the phone”.

Fancy EVEN more Prime Day savings?
You might not know this, but Prime Day gives us all sorts of discounts on a wide range of product categories, not just smartphones. If you’re in the market for even more savings, you can check out our dedicated Best Amazon Deals live blog, featuring curated deals throughout the two-day sales event.

The best iPhone deal we’ve found so far
The iPhone 13 has dropped to just £599, down from an average price of £738. That’s a huge £139 price drop and the cheapest we’ve ever seen.
This deal applies to the Blue, Green and Starlight models. And while it isn’t the most recent iPhone, Apple’s 2021 flagship handset still impresses and in our subsequent reviews, we’ve found that the upgrades since have only been relatively minor.

This Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus deal is TERRIFIC value
We loved Xiaomi’s latest mid-range handset, the Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus, when we reviewed it earlier this year. We’re even more taken aback by this Prime Day deal.
So long as you pick one up before this deals period ends, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus costs just £329. That’s the biggest smartphone saving we’ve seen yet, representing a total discount of £93 compared to the average price.

Get the Google Pixel 7a AND a 30W charger for just £399
This Pixel 7a deal is going to take some beating. With an average price of £429, Google’s exceptional mid-range handset is now only £399. This is the cheapest we’ve seen it drop – not to mention you usually don’t get a charger, so to see a 30W brick included in this deal is pretty darn good
What can you expect from the Pixel 7a, then? Well, for starters, it’s one of the best phone cameras at this price, and it even manages to outperform flagship handsets that cost hundreds of pounds more. It also uses the same Tensor G2 chipset as its bigger brother, the regular Pixel 7, so performance is surprisingly rapid as well. In fact, the only thing we didn’t like in our review was the price jump, so to see it drop in price in the Amazon Big Deal Days event is most welcome.

This Honor Magic 5 Lite deal is a budget bargain
If your buying budget is limited, you can’t go wrong with this Honor Magic 5 Lite deal. Dropping to its lowest-ever price, Honor’s terrific-value handset is now only £230 – that’s a lovely little saving of £20.
In our review, we couldn’t stop talking about its terrific battery life, which lasted almost 29 hours in our video playback test. We also loved its vibrant, curved display and the design that looks more fitting amongst flagships rather than its budget brethren.
This is the budget smartphone deal to beat this Prime Day.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 drops to its LOWEST price
Fancy a foldable? The 1TB model of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 is now the same price as the 256GB version. Usually priced at £2,049, the Z Fold 5 with the most amount of internal storage is now £1,749 – that’s a huge £300 off.
That’s the best price we’ve seen yet and the first major price drop since the phone launched in August.

This Nothing Phone (2) deal is INSANE
The Nothing Phone (2), which has only recently launched, has received its first major price drop in the Amazon Big Deals Day sales.
With an average price of £629, the 256GB Nothing phone (2) is currently just £569 – that’s a healthy saving of £60. Alternatively, if you fancy extra storage, you can scoop up the 512GB model for only £619. That’s an even greater saving of £80.
What did we think of the Nothing Phone (2) in our review? We awarded it four stars and a Recommended award just a couple of weeks ago, praising the handset for its huge battery life improvements and software tweaks. It’s cheaper than its competitors (even more so in this sale) and its light-up design on the rear is quite special, too.
