Google Pixel 6a deals: Bag a BRILLIANT bundle in the Amazon Spring Sale
Google Pixel 6a deals like this don't come along every day: nab the handset with a pair of Pixel Buds A-Series for £126 less than usual
As Google Pixel 6a deals go, this is a stunner: as part of Amazon’s Spring Sale, you can pick up the 128GB version of the four-star handset and a pair of four-star Google Pixel Buds S-Series earbuds for £333, or a whopping £126 less than the bundle’s average price on the site. It’s an outstanding offer on two pieces of Google gear.
It might have been leapfrogged by the Google Pixel 7, but Google Pixel 6a deals are still very much worth your while. As we explain in more detail below, we were impressed by the phone’s internal specs, typically brilliant cameras and sharp, colour-accurate display. Similarly, we praised the company’s Pixel Buds A-Series for their neat form factor, reasonable price (which is now even more reasonable) and seamless compatibility with Google Assistant.
There’s a catch, though: as with all Google Pixel 6a deals this head-turning, you’ll have to take advantage of it as soon as possible because Amazon’s Spring Sale ends at midnight on Wednesday 29 March.
As we mentioned above, we awarded the Google Pixel 6a four stars out of five in our in-depth review. Despite being a more affordable version of the company’s Pixel 6 flagship, the 6a shares the same internals – and processing grunt. This led to huge strides forward in our suite of tests, with the Pixel 6a demolishing the similarly priced competition. Its battery life isn’t quite as stellar, but a total of 20hrs 47mins is still very good.
Elsewhere, you’re getting a 6.1in, 60Hz display with a resolution of 2,400 x 1,080 that punches well above its price range. For instance, the colour performance is exceptional and every colour was bang-on in our tests, which is very rare.
Google has established a well-earned reputation for delivering high-quality smartphone cameras and the Pixel 6a is certainly no exception. It takes photos that are bursting at the seams with detail, even in tricky light conditions, and the portraits are particularly impressive.
The only negatives we could identify were the 60Hz display refresh rate, a lack of face unlock and the fact that the Pixel 6 was only slightly more at launch. However, the latter concern is blown out of the water by this offer and the other two are hardly deal-breakers when you’re getting so much for your money.
In short, we love Google Pixel 6a deals like this, especially when they bundle an extra and still end up saving you shedloads of money. Once again, just make sure you get in there quickly because the offer won’t be around for very long at all.
