iPhone Xs deal: Get 100GB of data for less this Black Friday
iPhone Xs? More like iPhone X-less
First showing up in shops late last year, Apple’s iPhone Xs quite rightly earned the plus-sized smartphone crown, but its eye-watering launch price was a tough pill to swallow. As reviewer extraordinaire Jon Bray said at the time: “it’s more expensive than all of its Android rivals, even at its base price.”
A phone this big commanded a big price tag at launch, and even though the iPhone Xs since saw quite a few price reductions in the months that followed, it’s still widely regarded as too expensive of an upgrade for many.
However, with the arrival of Black Friday beginning to work its way into the nooks and crannies of phone shops up and down the land, you shouldn’t be too surprised to hear that the iPhone Xs can be scooped up for cheaper than ever.
If you point your mouse towards Fonehouse, you can sign up to a 24-month contract with Three, costing you £47 a month with no upfront cost. With this, you get a generous 100GB of monthly data at your disposal, as well as unlimited minutes and texts, and it’ll only cost you a total of £1,128 by the time your contract ends.
That’s not a bad deal when you consider that the SIM-free price of the iPhone Xs is currently £949, so you’re effectively getting a 24-month 100GB SIM on top of that for only £179 – or £7.45 a month according to my calculations.
It might be a year old at this point, but the iPhone Xs still represents the very pinnacle of Apple’s smartphone achievements. Its camera is still astonishing – only slightly beaten by the iPhone 11 Pro Max – and performance is up there among the very best too. If you want an iPhone, but can’t quite afford the sky-high prices of this year’s handsets, then you really can’t say no to this.
