Apple iPhone Xs and Xs Max prices drop for Prime Day
Amazon drops iPhone Xs prices during Prime Day, but if you want more storage you're out of luck
Apple’s iPhones are almost always reassuringly expensive, with the top-of-the-line iPhone Xs and iPhone Xs Max priced well beyond the £1,000 mark. But if you’re in the market for one of Cupertino’s finest iDevices and fancy saving a good wad of cash, then Amazon’s Prime Day deals have you covered.
Amazon has reduced the price of Apple’s flagship phone by 15%. That might not seem like much on paper but it translates to savings of more than a hundred pounds.
You can currently pick up the 64GB iPhone Xs – pretty much the entry-level model in the iPhone Xs line-up – in Space Grey, Gold or Silver for £849. That’s £150 off the original launch price.
Fancy more storage? The 256GB iPhone Xs has also been reduced to £1,029. This is only a 10% saving, though. The 512GB model hasn’t been reduced.

People with large hands or a desire for more screen space on their iPhone can rejoice, as Amazon is also slashing the prices of the iPhone Xs Max.
The 64GB iPhone Xs Max in all three colours has been reduced from £1,049 to £949 – a 14% discount translating to a £150 saving.
Move up to the 256GB handset and Amazon is offering a saving of £124, with the phone dropping from £1,249 to £1,125.
And that’s your lot. Sadly, Amazon isn’t discounting the 512GB iPhone Xs Max, the cream of the Cupertino phone crop, meaning you’ll still have to fork out a massive £1,249 if you want to get your hands on one.
But given discounts on top-end iPhones are fairly rare, Amazon’s current slew of savings are not to be sniffed at.
Just remember that you’ll need to be an Amazon Prime subscriber to take advantage of these discounts. You can sign up for a free 30-day trial below.
