Huawei P30 Lite preorders: Pick up a free pair of headphones worth £99
Huawei's new budget smartphone is available to preorder - and comes with a nice freebie
It seems pretty standard practice these days for phone manufacturers to offer some kind of sweetener when their new phones are available to preorder. It’s certainly the case for Huawei, the Chinese tech company that’s fast becoming one of the leading names on the smartphone market.
When Huawei released its latest flagship phones – the P30 and P30 Pro – last month, buyers who preordered either device were able to claim a Sonos wireless speaker absolutely free of charge. With the brand’s follow-up offering, the lesser-frills, budget-priced P30 Lite, you can pick up a pair of the company’s new FreeLace wireless headphones. A number of retailers are offering the deal, including Carphone Warehouse, Mobiles.co.uk and Virgin Media.
The Lite may not boast the same battery and processor specs as its bigger, pricier brothers, but may still prove a better alternative for those who don’t want to part with vast sums of cash for a new phone. We’ll have a detailed verdict on the P30 Lite soon: our hands-on review will go live next week.
As you can read in our full review, the FreeLace headphones aren’t without their issues – but given that they’re currently on sale for £115 on Amazon, they make for a pretty nice deal-sweetener. So if you’re looking for a new phone but want to avoid the usual eye-watering prices, and you want to upgrade your headphones at the same time, then cast your eye over those P30 Lite deals.
