Nokia Lumia 730 leaked ahead of IFA reveal on Thursday
New photo leaks show the Nokia Lumia 730 beside a 4G variant called the Lumia 735
We’re expecting Microsoft to announce the successor to its mid-range Lumia 720 Windows phone at its IFA press conference on Thursday, but the phone has once again been leaked ahead of its official release.
More images of the Lumia 730 surfaced over the weekend, showing off new black and white cases in addition to the green model leaked last month. Revealed on Chinese site Baibu Tieba, the Lumia 730 appears alongside a potential 4G variant, the Lumia 735. If true, this would mean the Lumia 730 will be following in the footsteps of the excellent Lumia 630, which had a 4G variation called the Lumia 635. Meanwhile, the Lumia 730 is expected to be a dual-SIM 3G model.
Specs-wise, both phones are rumoured to have a 4.7in screen, a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage with microSD card support and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for taking selfies.
Microsoft is also expected to unveil the high-end Lumia 830 on Thursday, which is the follow-up to the Lumia 820. Little is currently known about the phone’s specs, but it should fall somewhere between the range-topping Lumia 930 and the Lumia 730’s specs detailed above.
We’ll be reporting live from Microsoft’s IFA press conference this Thursday at 9am UK time, so we’ll be bringing you all the latest Nokia details as they’re announced.
