Nokia Lumia 730 spotted in leaked images
The Lumia 730 could be Nokia's version of the ultimate "selfie" phone
We’ve already had news that the Lumia 530 is joining Nokia’s new line-up of Windows Phone 8.1 devices this year, but now it looks like the successor to last year’s Lumia 720 may also be on its way to help fill the gap of mid-range Windows phones left by the budget-orientated Lumia 630 and 635 and the high-end Lumia 930.
The first photos of the supposed Lumia 730 were obtained by WP Central. As you can see from shots below, its bright green case looks to be continuing the colour scheme we’ve seen on the Lumia 630 and Lumia 930, so it’s highly likely we’ll see a bright orange Lumia 730 as well once it’s officially announced. It also has onscreen buttons.
The Lumia 730 is rumoured to be Nokia’s take on the “selfie” phone, as it’s reported to have a 5-megapixel camera on the front of the handset and a 4.7in display. Little else is known about the phone’s remaining specs at present, but the Lumia Debian Red firmware could suggest the phone will arrive with a newer version of Windows Phone 8.1 when it launches. It’s currently unknown what new features Debian Red will bring to Windows Phone 8.1, but it’s expected to roll out in November, so it’s possible we may see an official launch for the Lumia 730 around the same time.
