Get the £110 Amazon Fire TV Cube for just £70 in the Black Friday sale
The latest device to get the early Black Friday deal treatment is the Fire TV Cube
As the early Amazon Black Friday deals start to add up, the latest Amazon device to be discounted is the Fire TV Cube.
Usually retailing for £110, the media streamer is now on offer for just £70.
If you’ve been keeping an eye on this device, you’ll know that this discount is exactly the same as the one Amazon was offering during its Prime Day event.
However, this time you don’t need an Amazon Prime account to benefit (although we still recommend you get one because it pays for itself very quickly – especially at this time of year).
If you’re undecided on whether you need a Fire TV Cube or a regular Fire TV Stick, the Cube essentially has three functions.
First and foremost, it’s a 4K TV streamer, with built-in apps for Netflix, Amazon Prime, BBC iPlayer and plenty more.
It’s also a dedicated Amazon Echo smart speaker and acts as a universal remote.
That means that not only can it do anything an Echo can do, but it can also be used to control your soundbar and set-top box.
As we wrote in our Amazon Fire TV Cube review: “As streaming products go, it’s hard to fault the Fire TV Cube. It unifies the key devices hooked up to your TV and presents a fast, shiny interface to pick out most of the content you might want to stream.”
Our main criticism was its high price, but considering it’s significantly cheaper for Black Friday, now may be the time to take the leap.
If the Fire TV Cube isn’t for you and you’d rather just buy an Echo device, Amazon is also offering up to 50% off its Echo range, including the new Echo and Echo Dot.
