Lenovo G570 M51BPUK review

The G570 M51BPUK is extremely well made and looks classy, too, having a rich brown-black colour scheme, a glossy lid and a brushed metal interior. The keyboard’s slightly indented keys make touch-typing easy, although their widely spaced layout may take some getting used to. There’s a full numeric keypad on the right, too. The touchpad is positioned below the spacebar, which means that it’s off-set. We caught it with the edge of our hands a couple of times at first, but the large wrist rest gives you plenty of space for your hands, which means it’s harder to move the cursor accidentally.

With a battery life of over five hours, the M51BPUK is neither conspicuously good nor particularly poor in that respect, but Acer’s award-winning Aspire V3- 571 is similarly specified and has a long lasting battery. Unless you need a Blu-ray drive, the Acer Aspire V3-571 is a better buy.
