How to watch Silicon Valley for free in the UK, US and abroad
Here's how to watch all six seasons of the hit HBO show, Silicon Valley
Silicon Valley follows five young men who have founded a startup company. The show was met with critical acclaim when it premiered in 2014 and did reasonably well until its finale in 2019.
The best way to watch Silicon Valley in the UK and US is to subscribe to popular streaming service Hulu, which comes with a monthlong free trial for new users. Alternatively, you can also watch it on HBO Now if you live in the US, or buy individual episodes and watch it on Amazon Prime Video if you live in the UK.
Some techies loved the show so much they claimed they felt they were watching their own “reflection”. The series follows Richard Hendricks and the development of his mobile app, Pied Piper.
The app, which soon becomes revolutionary, makes it easier for songwriters to determine if they are infringing on others’ copyright. We watch as Hendricks acquires new people for his team, argues with investors and battles copycat products.
While fans love its true-to-life content and witty writing, it also explores how ‘geeks’ are perceived as the new ‘rockstars’ and how well – or not – they can adapt to this new status. For everything you need to know about how to watch all previous episodes of Silicon Valley, read on.
How to watch Silicon Valley for free in the UK and US: Hulu
If you’re in the UK or US you’ll be able to stream HBO shows through Hulu at an extra cost. Subscriptions start at $5.99 and to add HBO to your package it’ll be an extra $14.99. Both these plans give new subscribers the first month free, which means that you can watch the entire series for free if you’re quick. Uk subscribers will need to pay via an international credit card or PayPal. Other packages also offer live TV on top of extra channels. Like HBO, Hulu is only available for those watching within the US, but if you do wish to carry on using it elsewhere then a VPN is the best option. Read below for some of our favourites.

How to watch Silicon Valley for free in the US: HBO
Silicon Valley is produced by HBO, so it’s only obvious that’s the logical place to stream all episodes of the show. HBO Now costs $14.99/mnth, but it comes with a seven-day free trial for new subscribers, which might not be enough time to binge-watch all six seasons of Silicon Valley. However, you have the option of cancelling at any time, which is great. HBO is geo-blocked, which means you can’t watch it from outside the US unless you use a good VPN service (see section below).

How to watch Silicon Valley in the UK: Amazon Prime Video
Silicon Valley was earlier available on both Sky TV and its monthly subscription service Now TV, but you can’t watch them free on either platform now. Therefore, your best option to watch Silicon Valley in the UK is to purchase individual episodes or entire seasons on Amazon Prime. Episodes are available to purchase from £2.49 a pop, or you can buy entire seasons for £18 – depending on what you prefer.
How to watch Silicon Valley abroad: use a good VPN service
If you’re abroad and you still want to watch your favourite shows but your streaming service or download site won’t allow you to, then a VPN is the way forward. Unfortunately, some countries will block access to certain streaming services but by using a virtual private network you can trick your connection into thinking you’re thousands of miles away. Using a VPN encrypts your connection and therefore gives you absolute privacy when you’re online.
