Amazon sale sees up to 40% slashed off the price of its Echo, Echo Dot, Fire TV Stick and Fire tablets
Grab a great bargain in the latest Amazon Echo and Amazon Fire sale
Amazon has dropped a surprise sale, offering savings of up to 40% on its Echo and Fire products.
The biggest saving is on the third-generation model of the Amazon Echo Dot. This tiny smart speaker comes with improved sound compared to previous models, the ability to stream songs from Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon Music, as well as all the brilliant smart home and voice-control features we’ve come to expect from Amazon’s Echo range. The Echo Dot (3rd gen) usually retails for £50 but is on sale for £30 – a massive saving of 40%.
The Echo Dot’s larger sibling, the second-generation Amazon Echo, is 22% cheaper at £70, down from £90. It offers the same voice-control features and Alexa-based smart home capabilities as the Echo Dot but it does so in a larger, more stylish way. This larger size also means superior sound, so the Amazon Echo is a fantastic speaker in its own right, even if you never use its smart features.
In Amazon’s Fire range, the Fire TV Stick is now a tenner cheaper at £30. If you’ve been looking for an easy way to turn your TV into a smart TV, accessing the many shows across Netflix, BBC iPlayer, Prime Video, the ITV Hub, YouTube, Disney Life and more, then the Fire TV Stick is both an easy and cheap way to do so. You simply plug it into the back of your TV and use the voice-controlled Alexa Remote to find what you want to watch.
And finally, Amazon has knocked £25 off the price of its 8in Fire HD tablet. The 16GB model now costs just £55, while the 32GB version is £75 (down from £80 and £100 respectively). Each model comes with an 8in HD screen, 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 1.5GB of RAM and Dolby Atmos audio. Elsewhere, it comes with 2-megapixel front- and rear-facing cameras and a promised battery life of 10 hours.
