A handsome little camera that's built to withstand water, impacts and cold. Sadly, image quality is astonishingly bad.
Taking 3D photos and videos is great fun, but 3D playback options are limited and the W3 isn’t so impressive in 2D mode.
The Fujifilm Digital Imaging Service member we tested provided better value than most high street shops, but prices vary from branch to branch.
The photos have their strengths and weaknesses, but this is still one of the best compact ultra-zoom cameras currently available, if a little expensive.
Fantastic controls, a massive zoom, lots of fun features and excellent low-light performance make this the best ultra-zoom camera we’ve ever seen

Performance could be better, but with SLR-like controls and exceptional image quality, this is the best ultra-zoom camera we’ve seen.

A capable ultra-zoom camera at a remarkably low price, but even better-value models are available.
