Despite its lower fat content, the Heura Original manages to be one of the tastiest patties in our roundup. It has a realistic, meaty bite and a smokiness that gives it a just-off-the-grill taste. The flavour of the extra-virgin olive oil is also present, which gives it a slight Mediterranean flavour.

Compared to some of our other picks, the Heura Original is a little trickier to come by and the fresh packs aren’t suitable for home freezing, which limits their shelf life. However, if you’re after a lighter option, the Heura Original Burger is well worth seeking out.
