Amazon is offering the Garmin Forerunner 735XT smartwatch for half-price
Get the multi-sport smartwtch for £150 in this Black Friday deal
If you’re into sports and data but feel you don’t have the right gear to keep track of what you’re doing then Amazon has you covered. It’s offering the Garmin Forerunner 735XT smartwatch for its original price.
Normally priced at £300, Amazon has sliced £150 off the price tag for Black Friday. That means you can get a well-equipped fitness-tracking smartwatch for a bargain price.
While it’s not going to pull double duty as a smartwatch that you can wear for work and sport, it does come with a whole suite of sports-focused features. It tracks heart rate, swim workouts, and can provide advice on how much recovery you need after exercise, to name just a few features.
And it provides granular detail on such activities as well. For example, when it comes to swimming workout tracking, it can record personal records, swim distance, stroke type and count, and log your drills. While on the running side of things, it can provide VO2 max estimates, ground contact time balance, stride length, vertical ratio, as well as a physiological analysis which provides metrics associated with stress, performance and lactose threshold.
To get the most out of the Garmin Forerunner 735XT, you’ll need to add in the monitor strap, That’s sold separately, but Amazon is offering it as part of a bundle for £228. That’s not quite the stellar deal as buying the watch separately but it’s still well below the original price Garmin had set for the watch.
If you’re after something a little less sporty, then Amazon is selling the Apple Watch Series 4 with £100 sliced off the price. But for people who are into multiple sports and like to see the fruits of their labours and workout efforts, the Garmin Forerunner 735XT at half its original price is a bargain that’s not to be missed.
