This Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra deal is a phenomenal Black Friday bargain
Get MASSES of data and a year of free Disney Plus in this outstanding Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra Black Friday deal
The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is a popular handset around the Expert Reviews water cooler, placing as our favourite flagship in our best Android phone roundup, and taking the top spot overall in our list of the best smartphones. Usually, you’d have to put down a hefty price to pick up this stellar flagship, but Black Friday has done what it does best, and now you can score a Galaxy S22 Ultra, along with truckloads of data and a special freebie, all for a terrific price.
The first string to this deal’s bow is doubling the data, offering you 200GB for the price of 100GB, along with the expected unlimited minutes and data. On top of that, Samsung is running a promotion that gets you a full year of Disney Plus at no extra cost. As standard, this deal is priced at £36/mth with an upfront cost of £80, but there’s one final cherry to go on top of this bargain, in the form of an exclusive discount code that nets you an extra £10 off. Just enter the code ER10 at checkout and you’ll only pay £70 upfront.
In our Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra review, we summed the handset up as a Note in all but name, and it’s not hard to see why; its large, vibrant 6.8in AMOLED display and bundled S Pen stylus certainly fit the bill. The camera array is also something of a delight, with a complete redesign tucking in four lenses on the rear. The main 108MP shooter is the star of the pack, producing stunningly detailed images, even in less-than-ideal lighting conditions.
Performance doesn’t get quite the kind of bump over the S21 Ultra that we’d have liked to see but the figures are still impressive enough, with CPU and GPU speeds remaining competitive with similarly priced models. Equally, battery life takes a bit of a hit compared to the previous Samsung flagship, but still comes in at almost 20 hours, which should be plenty for anyone who’s in the habit of charging their phone overnight anyway.
The only major issue we really had with the Galaxy S22 Ultra was that it was decidedly expensive (right now, the 128GB handset would cost you £949 to buy it outright). With the £10 off the upfront cost factored in, the lifetime price of this deal comes in at £934, meaning that not only are you getting the handset at a slight discount, but you’re also getting 24 months of 200GB Vodafone data and 12 months of Disney Plus thrown in for no extra cost.
If you’re wondering what you can do with that full year of content from Disney Plus, it might be quicker to ask what you can’t watch. In addition to the deep vaults of films and TV shows from the Star Wars, Marvel, Disney and Pixar studios, this month alone is bringing several new members to the family, including the comedic whodunit movie, See How They Run, and long-awaited sequels like Disenchanted and the Willow TV series.
This bargain is going to take some effort to top, but if you’d like to assess the competition, head over to our Black Friday hub, where we’ve gathered together all the best deals on everything from air fryers and vacuums to laptops and headphones.
