Our original Lavazza Voicy review awarded the machine a respectable four stars, as well as our recommended award, with price being one substantial quibble. We liked the Voicy for its built-in Alexa smart speaker, which can add a touch of music to your morning, or simply act as a functional voice assistant for making your daily brew. Between the voice controls and well-featured companion app, there are a number of handy presets and customisation options to help get things just right.
Outside of its smart features, the Voicy is also simply a rock-solid coffee capsule machine. The appliance heats up in a speedy 25 seconds and operates quietly once it gets going. It also produces excellent espresso from Lavazza’s compostable pods, which come in a variety of lengths and types.
As mentioned above, our main critique of the Voicy was that its fun features could be seen as a little gimmicky for such a pricey machine. But with this deal bringing its total in line with similar models, you can now pick up a pod coffee machine with a standout feature for a standard price.
