Philips 273E3 review
The 273E3 has good image quality and a generous warranty, but it lacks comprehensive image controls
The only other image control is the colour temperature setting, which offers a cold 9300K or a more balanced 6500K, as well as the standard sRGB setting and a user-defined option. We found the difference between 6500K and sRGB negligible. We found colours to be most natural at 6500K, and think most people will be happy at this setting.
At under £300 and with a three-year collect-and-return warranty, the 273E3 is great value; even better, we’re assured by Philips’ representative that the price will soon drop to under £250. However, it’s not much better than the Iiyama ProLite E2710HDSD-1, which also has a 4-port USB hub and can be bought now for around £230.
