After a busy deals-filled day yesterday, we’re back again with the second day of Amazon Prime Day. Once more, we’re expecting a flood of sensational smartphone savings to show up throughout the day, and our team of experts are here to let you know which are the best.
But there’s not long left until these deals expire. Prime Day 2 – or Big Deal Days, as Amazon calls it – ends at midnight tonight, so if any of these deals tickle your fancy, now’s the time to buy.

When is Black Friday?
With our Prime Day smartphone coverage winding down, you might be wondering when we can expect the next deals event. The good news is that you won’t have to wait long: Black Friday is just around the corner.
You can find out more details on our dedicated Black Friday 2023 page, but we’re expecting the savings to start trickling in as early as the beginning of November. We’ll be covering all the bargains throughout the entire Black Friday period, so stay tuned for even more deals roundups in the very near future.

Searching for an iPhone deal? This is it
It’s usually slim pickings for iPhone deals during sales events, but if you’re after an Apple handset this is the best deal we’ve found. The iPhone 13, which is still a stonking smartphone, has dropped to £599 this Prime Day.
Sure, it isn’t the latest model – for that, you’re looking at a £799 iPhone 15 – but the iPhone 13 still holds up remarkably well in 2023. In fact, I’m still using one as my daily driver.

A sensational Samsung saving
Fancy a Samsung handset? The Galaxy A34 is still on offer, at a lovely low price of £299. Admittedly, that’s not the first time the A34 has dropped to this price, but it’s still a great deal nonetheless.

From Nothing to something
A reminder that both the Nothing Phone (1) and Nothing Phone (2) are also discounted in Amazon’s Big Deal Days sale.
Our favourite mid-range handset of last year, the Nothing Phone (1), is currently just £300. That’s for the 256GB model, too – the 128GB version is £10 less.

Honor Magic 5 Lite drops in price AGAIN
Amazon has knocked another tenner off the Honor Magic 5 Lite’s deal price. Yesterday, the deal was at £230, but today you can pick it up for just £218 – that’s the cheapest we’ve ever seen.

Even MORE Pixel bargains
Building on the previous update, we’ve just spotted that there are many more Pixel deals doing the rounds this morning.
We’ve already mentioned the Pixel 7a deal below, but you can also pick up the full-fat Pixel 7 for just £9 extra. With this one, you get a slightly bigger screen and a different selection of rear cameras.
It’s not out yet, but there’s also a pretty great preorder deal for the Pixel 8. For the same price as just the handset, Amazon is also throwing in a pair of Pixel Buds Pro wireless earbuds for only £699.

A Pixel perfect Prime Day bargain
I’ve already shared our selection of the best Prime Day phone deals from yesterday, but this is our current favourite recommendation. It will take some beating before the sales event ends.
For just £399, you can pick up Google’s terrific Pixel 7a. At that price, you’re getting one of the very best phone cameras on the market, a wonderfully colour-accurate 90Hz display and the same rapid Tensor G2 chipset as its bigger brother.
