A levelled-up Chromebook that doesn’t break the bank
One more to shout about before I sign off for the night, and it’s something of a curveball. You see, the Lenovo IdeaPad 5 Chromebook Plus hasn’t been out all that long, so to see the price dropped by over £100 in this Prime Day sale is a surprise, to be sure. But, a welcome one.
As you can see, design-wise it’s exactly what you’d expect from a Chromebook – thin, likely lightweight and stylish enough. The Plus comes in when we look at the specs, which are a bit of a cut above the standard Chromebook. First of all, you’ve got a larger 14in FHD display. Inside is an Intel Core i3 processor, backed by 8GB of RAM and 256GB of SSD storage, all of which should perform better than the average Chromebook.
For its average retail price of £390, the Lenovo IdeaPad 5 Chromebook Plus is probably decent enough value, but this Prime Day deal takes a whopping £105 off the average, bringing it down to a delectable £285. There’s not long left of Prime Day now, so be sure to get in quick if you want to take advantage of this price!

It’s slim, it’s light and that price is just right
In the closing hours of October Prime Day 2023, we’ve still got a couple of noteworthy laptop deals coming in, the first of which is this decent discount on the Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Pro.
As you can see, the Galaxy Book 2 Pro is an incredibly thin machine, and it matches that with an airy lightness that makes it a breeze to carry on your commute. Upgrading over the previous generation, this model added a 12th Gen Intel Core i5 chipset for faster performance, and a full HD webcam to make you look your best in those remote meetings.
This isn’t the cheapest that we’ve ever seen the Galaxy Book 2 Pro, but compared to the average price (£884) this deal price of just £730 is quite the bargain.

Save more than £1,000 on this BEAST of a gaming laptop
The Razer Blade 15 has all the horsepower a gamer could ask for, with the Intel Core i7 processor joined by a chunky 32GB of RAM, 1TB SSD and RTX 3040 graphics. Topping it all off is a gorgeous 15.6in display that offers the double whammy of a QHD resolution and a buttery smooth 240Hz refresh rate.
Best of all, however, is just how much you’re saving with this deal. The average price is usually at an eye-watering £3,363, but this Prime Day deal sees it slashed down to just £2,099. Not only is this a fair bit more than £1,000 off the average price, it’s also the cheapest we’ve ever seen this laptop.

Looking for a high performance laptop for under £900?
The Asus Vivobook S15 OLED may be just the Prime Day deal you’ve been looking for. It comes with a gorgeous 15.6in Full HD 120Hz screen, one of Intel’s latest 13th Gen H-series Core i7 CPUs, ensuring plenty of performance grunt, plus a discrete GPU in the form of Intel’s Arc A350M.
Its GPU isn’t a match for the gaming capabilities of a laptop with a 30-series or 40-series Nvidia GeForce RTX GPUs but it does mean the S15 is a decent machine for video editing and other heavy duty computing tasks. With 16GB of RAM and 1TB of SSD storage it’s a powerful all-round package.

Here’s another impressive-looking budget laptop deal from MSI
We’ve just spotted that the MSI Modern 14 is on offer, alonside the larger sibling MSI Modern 15 mentioned earlier. This 14in Full HD model is even cheaper at £349 (reduced from £489) although its specification isn’t quite as impressive.
It has a 12th Gen Intel Core i3 CPU – that’s one generation old at this stage – so performance won’t be super quick. However, it does have 8GB of RAM and a decent-sized 512GB proper SSD, so it should feel nippy enough in everyday use. Just don’t task it with anything too intensive and you’ll be fine.

Snag a major deal on a premium 15in Dell laptop
Grab the Dell XPS 15 for £1,899 – that’s more than £400 less than its average historical price and its record lowest price.
For this price you’re getting a top spec 13th Gen Intel Core i7-13700H CPU, 16GB of RAM and a sizeable 1TB SSD, complemented by a seriously powerful Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 GPU.
As with all XPS laptops, build quality is superb and this model comes with a 3.5K OLED touchscreen, too.

This sub-£500 laptop actually comes with a decent specification
Usually there’s a compromise or two (or three) in every sub-£500 laptop specification but this MSI Modern 15in laptop looks to have every box ticked.
Its price is a very reasonable £419 (reduced from £649) and it comes with a 7000-series AMD Ryzen 7 CPU, 8GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD. That’s a very generous line-up of components for the money.

Pick up a gaming powerhouse for LESS
The Acer Predator Helios 300 is Acer’s premium gaming laptop and this model has been reduced to £1,349 from an average price of £1,708.
It’s positively rammed with high-end components, including a 15.6in QHD 165Hz display, an Intel Core i7-12700H CPU, 16GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD. Plus, there’s an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 GPU, which should be able to cope with even the most demanding AAA titles.

We love a good Chromebook deal and this one is seriously tempting
The Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 3 chromebook is currently £299, reduced by a full £100 over its average price of £399, and it’s a seriously good deal. It isn’t the most luxurious of laptops or the most powerful – the CPU is only a Pentium Silver – but it delivers a 15.6in touchscreen display, a 360-degree hinge, 128GB of storage and 8GB of RAM.
08:55 | 11 Oct
This could be the best Prime Day deal on a gaming laptop yet
The MSI Katana 15 is great value at the best of times but this deal represents SENSATIONAL value for a laptop with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 GPU inside. It’s £1,099, and also comes with an Intel Core i7-12650H, 16GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD.
To be clear, this isn’t a massive discount on the regular historical average of £1,215 but it is supremely good value for money for this specification. It even comes with an IPS 144Hz display, so it shouldn’t be horrid to look at either.

This 2-in-1 laptop deal is NOT to be missed
The Dell Inspiron 14 7430 is a sleek 2-in-1 machine with plenty of features to shout about. There’s only one thing you need to know up top, however: At just £549 (down from an average price of £652), the Inspiron 14 is the cheapest it has ever been.
This particular model is fitted with a 13th Gen Intel Core i5 processor, backed up by 8GB of RAM and a generous 512GB of SSD storage space. If you want more power, there’s also a model with 16GB of RAM and an Intel Core i7 processor at its lowest price ever (£669, down from an average of £886).
Whichever model takes your fancy, you’re also getting a 14in FHD display, upwards firing speakers that support Dolby Atmos playback and integrated Intel Iris XE graphics, for those who like to partake in light gaming after work.

Another KILLER deal on an ASUS gaming laptop
Asus is just non-stop with the bargains this Prime Day, and we don’t mind at all. The ASUS TUF A17 only released earlier this year, but you can already save over £100 from the average price with this Prime Day deal.
That average price of £1,435 is struck down here to a round £1,300, which isn’t just a solid chunk off, it’s also the cheapest price we’ve seen this laptop at yet.
For your money, you’re getting a gaming powerhouse, with a beefy Ryzen-9 processor, RTX 4070 graphics, 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD. Topping it all off is a massive 17.3in FHD display with a buttery smooth 144Hz refresh rate.
16:27 | 10 Oct
Sleeky, sturdy and now cheaper than ever
The Microsoft Surface Laptop 5 may not be the fastest or longest-lasting, but we couldn’t help but love the slick design and decent repairability options.
This model pairs its Intel Core i7 processor with 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD, which is enough to handle your daily working tasks. Best of all, however, is the webcam, which we found to be crisp and clear in testing, and of course, you get access to swift face unlocking via Windows Hello.
Finally, and perhaps most importantly, this is the lowest price we’ve ever seen the Surface Laptop 5 going for (£1,289, down from an average of £1,633).

You won’t find a better deal than THIS on a powerful laptop today
It’s the Asus Vivobook Pro 16X and we’ve only just spotted that it’s been reduced from an average £1,775 to £1,500. Sound expensive? Well think again. This is a laptop that’s packed with cutting edge, high-end components – a specification that can deal with the heaviest of workloads and even AAA games as well – and £1,500 represents fantastic value for such a high-end lineup.
Not only that, but it’s also equipped with a gloriously vivid 16in, 120Hz 1,920 x 1,200 display, powered by an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 GPU, an Intel Core i9-13900H CPU, 16GB of system RAM and a large 1TB SSD.
14:05 | 10 Oct
Grab a power-packed gaming laptop for £630
The AMD-powered variant of the HP Victus packs plenty of power in for the money and there’s a generous discount on it in the Prime Day sales.
It comes with a 5000-series AMD Ryzen 7 processor, 8GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 GPU under the hood, and has a big 15.6in 1080p display that refreshes at 144Hz. That’s an impressively punchy specification for the money and makes it a great choice for those needing plenty of power but who can’t quite afford a full-priced gaming machine.
12:15 | 10 Oct
One of the best premium Chromebooks has a BIG discount
We LOVE the Asus Chromebook Flip CX5 (CX5501) and it’s on offer this Prime Day, cut from its average historical price of £665 to £500. It’s powered by an Intel Core i5-1135G7 CPU, backed up by 16GB RAM, and has a 256GB SSD for storage. Coupled with ChromeOS, this is a configuration that should really fly, but that’s not all. You’re getting a nicely designed 2-in-1 convertible chassis here, with a 15.6in 144Hz Full HD touchscreen, all for a mere £500.
11:07 | 10 Oct
Grab a bargain 16in OLED laptop for under £1,000
We love the way the Acer Swift Edge combines slender proportions and light weight with a large, gloriously vivid 4K+ OLED display and it’s great value, too, especially at the discount price of £999.
With an original list price of £1,599 and an average of £1,151, that represents a generous saving, especially for a laptop with a specification this generous – it comes with an AMD Ryzen 7 6800U CPU, 16GB of RAM and a massive 1TB SSD.
10:22 | 10 Oct
One of our FAVOURITE mid-range gaming laptops is available for a song
The Lenovo Legion 5 is a fantastic gaming laptop and this variant has been reduced to its lowest price on record this Prime Day. This laptop received our five-star Best Buy award for offering excellent gaming performance at an affordable price and this model is no different. It comes with an Intel Core i7 processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 GPU, backed by 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD. That’s a great specification for £999 and should be able to cope with most serious gaming titles.
09:37 | 10 Oct
Fancy a decent 2-in-1 for LESS THAN £200?
If your budget is tight, the Lenovo IdeaPad Duet 3 could be right up your street at a mere £190, down from an average of £242. This Chromebook comes with a 2-in-1 detachable design, with the keyboard in the box, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7c processor, 64GB of storage and 4GB of RAM. And it also has an 11in touchscreen with a resolution of 2,000 x 1,200. Don’t expect the fastest of performance with this setup but, at this price, it’s a nice little machine.

A budget gaming laptop for even less!
Acer’s Budget Nitro 5 AN515-45 is even cheaper than usual in the Prime Day sale, slashed from an average price of £872 to a super tempting £699.
This model comes with an AMD Ryzen 5 5600H CPU, 16GB and 512GB SSD plus an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 and a Full HD 144Hz display. It’s a cracking specification for the money.

Microsoft’s best Windows tablet is down to its lowest ever price
Slim, lightweight and eminently portable, the Microsoft Surface Pro 9 is a terrific 2-in-1 laptop, and right now it’s down to its lowest price on record.
For as little as £799, you’re getting 12GB of RAM, a 256GB SSD and a speedy 12th Gen U-series Intel Core i5 processor. This price is only for the tablet, though – don’t forget to add a keyboard as well to turn it into a fully fledged laptop.

Acer’s recycled Aspire Vero is super cheap right now
If you want to feel better about buying a new laptop, this Acer Aspire Vero deal is for you. It’s largely made using post-consumer recycled plastics and the price has been reduced on the Core i7 (11th Gen) model (16GB of RAM, 1TB SSD) from an average £767 to a tempting £580. That’s a fantastic price for a laptop this well specified and the Core i5 model is on offer for even less at £480.
