How to use Amazon Baby Wishlist
Amazon Baby Wishlist lets you curate baby products, save money and share with family and friends
Amazon Baby Wishlist is your one-stop shop for infants. The retailer’s hub for all things baby is an excellent way to centralise all of your little one’s needs and share a list of desired or required items with friends, family and those wishing to buy you a gift. With the rise of gender reveal parties and baby showers in the US slowly making its way across the pond, Amazon’s baby-centric ecommerce platform is a real aid for all of your gifting needs, whether you’re giving or receiving.
It’s also a fantastic money-saving endeavour: Amazon Baby Wishlist lets you save up to 15% on baby products when you spend £200 via the Wishlist. That’s a very surmountable task when you consider the plethora of baby paraphernalia out there, from bouncers and breast pumps to slings and strollers.
Whether your due date is looming or you’re in the throes of early parenthood, here’s an explainer of how to make the most of Amazon Baby Wishlist.
How to use Amazon Baby Wishlist
How to get started with Amazon Baby Wishlist
If you’re a new or expectant parent, simply sign into your Amazon account, head to the Amazon Baby Wishlist page and click Get Started. There you’ll be prompted to give your first and last name, your expected arrival date (if applicable) and to confirm your delivery address.
You’ll then be asked permission for Amazon to share your address with gift givers, in order for friends and family to be able to ship gifts to your address. You can opt into a setting that lets gift givers deliver additional items not on your curated wishlist (if not, they’ll be confined to the list you’ve assembled – not necessarily a bad thing!)

Once you’ve sorted your settings, click Create Wishlist. Then you’ll be taken to the Amazon Baby Wishlist homepage, which directs you to a number of useful pages.
First up, there’s a tile showing popular Baby Wishlist categories to get the ideas flowing. Food, transit and entertainment are placed front and centre, with links to breast feeding equipment, car seats, pushchairs and activity gear given prominent display.
Next is a simple infographic marking your progress through Amazon’s own curated “essentials” wishlist of 64 items. Click on this, and you’ll find drop-down lists under a number of separate categories including Nursery, Nappy Changing, Health & Safety and Toys & Books.
On the page you’ll also find a banner of items frequently added to Baby Wishlists, with simple + Baby Wishlist buttons to incorporate them into your own. There are other micro-features dotted around the home page, everything from hospital bag checklists to baby-on-a-budget curated items. You’ll also find a tile that lets you share your Baby Wishlist with friends and family via email, WhatsApp, Twitter, Facebook and Pinterest.
