Samsung Galaxy S23 deals: Preorder Samsung’s latest Galaxy smartphones today
The Samsung Galaxy S23, S23 Plus and S23 Ultra arrive soon – here’s everything you need to know including the best preorder deals around
They might not be out until 17 February, but the Samsung Galaxy S23, S23 Plus and S23 Ultra are all now available to preorder via all the UK’s major networks. There are stacks of extras to get your hands on if you order before the launch date, as well as money back via trade-in savings for your old handsets, so it’s well worth diving into these delightful deals further down this page.
What’s new with the S23? Well, in our short time with the cheapest of Samsung’s new models, we were impressed with what it has to offer given it has identical specs to the S23 Plus, minus the bigger battery and screen. Both the S23 and S23 Plus have seen a boost in battery size, jumping by 200mAh each (while the S23 Ultra stays the same at 5,000mAh) so all three devices should provide heaps of play time at high speeds via their brand-new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chips.
Design-wise, the ‘Contour Cut’ rear camera housing found on the Galaxy S21 and S22 series is no more, with the cameras on the S23 and S23 Plus consisting of a 50MP main camera, 12MP ultrawide unit and 10MP telephoto lens. The 23 Ultra, meanwhile, now uses a 200MP sensor, up from the 108MP unit previously. There’s also a 12MP selfie camera on all three devices, bumped up from the 10MP lens on the S22.

The best Samsung Galaxy S23 preorder deals
1. Samsung: The best SIM-free Samsung Galaxy S23 deal
What’s better than getting your new smartphone directly from the source? Samsung is offering the SIM-free 256GB version of the Galaxy S23 for £849, which is the best price you’ll find. Samsung also says that it will refund the price difference even if you find it cheaper somewhere else within seven days of purchasing.
To sweeten the deal, you also get a choice of two exclusive colours that aren’t available anywhere else – Graphite and Lime – in addition to the four regular colours found elsewhere. Plus, you’ll be getting six months of free Disney Plus streaming worth almost £48, one-month free accidental damage worth £59 and up to £450 (if you have a Samsung device) when you trade in your old smartphone. That’s potentially saving you £557 on what would be a £959 purchase, bringing the total cost to just £506.
To get the 256GB version for £849, as well as get any money back with a phone trade-in, you’ll need to order before 16 February – otherwise, you’ll have to make do with the 128GB model and less money off your purchase.
Since you’re buying the handset outright, you’ll want to take a look at our best SIM-only deals and the best PAYG deals too.

That’s a total cost of just over £1,000 over the duration of your contract, while you’ll also bag six months of Disney Plus for the pleasure.
You’ll be using the Three network, which has been rapidly improving its 4G and 5G coverage across the UK and now sits second in the speed tables overall and number one in UK cities according to RootMetrics.
Contract length: 24 months; Upfront fee: £49; Monthly cost: £41; Lifetime cost: £1,033
3. EE: Best deal for extras
You can nab an unlimited data contract from EE with free six-month extras with choices including Apple Music, Apple TV+ or Apple Arcade. This deal costs just £30 upfront and £66/mth, and you’ll be joining a superbly fast network that received four stars out of five and a Recommended award in our latest review.
Contract length: 24 months; Upfront fee: £30; Monthly cost: £66; Lifetime cost: £1,614
4. Mobile Phones Direct/Three: Best deal with no upfront cost
The Samsung Galaxy S23 is even more expensive than the S22 and, as with most high-end smartphones, these lofty prices mean it’s not always possible to pay the big bucks upfront. To spread that cost over the duration of your contract, this Three deal via Mobiles.co.uk is wonderful: the 256GB model with 100GB of 5G data is yours for £43/mth. That’ll cost £1,032 over the full 24 months of your contract.
Contract length: 24 months; Upfront fee: £0; Monthly cost: £43; Lifetime cost: £1,032
The best Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus preorder deals
1. iD Mobile: Best deal with unlimited data
The middle smartphone of the bunch, the Samsung S23 Plus, is still best utilised with a big bundle of data and this iD Mobile deal is the best unlimited deal we’ve spotted. With just £99 to pay upfront, you’ll be paying £45 per month for the 512GB model and you can use however much data you like – not bad if you ask us.
Contract length: 24 months; Upfront fee: £99; Monthly cost: £45; Lifetime cost: £1,080
2. Affordable Mobiles/Three: Best deal with no upfront cost
Want to pay nothing today and still preorder your shiny new Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus? This contract comes courtesy of Affordable Mobiles and the Three network: 100GB of 5G data for £55/mth. There is a caveat, however, in that it only appears to be available on the 256GB model, so you won’t get to double your storage for free like some of the other plans on this page.
Contract length: 24 months; Upfront fee: £0; Monthly cost: £55; Lifetime cost: £1,320
3. EE: Best deal for extras
The top offering for included extras is undoubtedly EE’s brilliant bonuses. Once again, when purchasing an unlimited data plan, you get the choice between three extras that run for as long as your contract is active, with that contract being a £91/mth deal with £30 upfront. Your options are:
- Apple Music (worth £10.99/mth)
- Netflix (worth £6.99/mth)
- BT Sport (worth £25/mth)
- Roam Anywhere Pass (worth £10/mth)
- Xbox Game Pass Ultimate (worth £10.99/mth)

Contract length: 24 months; Upfront fee: £30; Monthly cost: £91; Lifetime cost: £2,184
The best Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra preorder deals
1. iD Mobile: Best deal with unlimited data
An exceptional smartphone like the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra demands a massive data package to go with it. Our favourite unlimited data deal comes from iD Mobile, which provides the lowest total cost out of any we’ve seen at £1,335. The downside is you will need to pay £375 of that upfront, and then £40 every month, but given you’ll be paying less in the long run this is an excellent compromise.
Contract length: 24 months; Upfront fee: £375; Monthly cost: £40; Lifetime cost: £1,335
2. Tesco Mobile: Best deal with no upfront cost
Since the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra is such a high-cost handset, there are almost no deals without some kind of upfront cost. However, Tesco Mobile has bucked the trend and is offering an array of contracts without anything to pay straight away. Our favourite is its Clubcard holders special: 100GB of data for £79.74/mth on a 24-month plan. That’s roughly the same price as Tesco’s 25GB plan so you’ll be saving around £120 over the duration of your contract while getting a massive 75GB extra every month.
Contract length: 24 months; Upfront fee: £0; Monthly cost: £79.74; Lifetime cost: £1,914
3. EE: Best deal for extras
EE is bringing the heat: you can get three incredible extras on its unlimited data contract deal (£99/mth with £30 upfront) for the 512GB Galaxy S23 Ultra. The options you choose will run for the length of your contract – in other words, you’ll have them for 24 months without paying a single penny extra. You can pick three from this list:
- Apple Music (worth £10.99/mth)
- Netflix (worth £6.99/mth)
- BT Sport (worth £25/mth)
- Roam Anywhere Pass (worth £10/mth)
- Xbox Game Pass Ultimate (worth £10.99/mth)
- Microsoft 365 Personal (worth £5.99/mth)
Better still, you can gift some of that unlimited data to your family and upgrade your handset at almost any time during your contract while enjoying EE’s elite data speeds.
Contract length: 24 months; Upfront fee: £30; Monthly cost: £99; Lifetime cost: £2,376
