iPhone 11 Pro now £999 in Carphone Warehouse Black Friday deal

Apple products aren’t often reduced, so it’s always worth looking at iPhone deals when they crop up – you never know when you might see another reduction, and it could be some time.
 
And for Black Friday, Carphone Warehouse has knocked £50 off the iPhone 11 Pro, bringing it down to three figures at £999.
 
To be clear, that’s still incredibly expensive, but it does at least bring it into line with the iPhone Xs launch price last year. And yes, you can buy Android handsets that are far better value than this, and Jon didn’t sugarcoat this point in his review. 
 
“In my view, considering how good the rest of its rivals are right now, the iPhone 11 Pro is simply too expensive,” he wrote. “You can spend half as much on an Android phone that’s 90% as good as this, with better battery life and far more storage.”
 
But for some people only iOS will do, and this is currently as good an iPhone as you can buy. Indeed, it still got a five-star score and a “best buy” award from Jon. “It looks a lot nicer than you think, and its cameras are beyond compare in all conditions. It shoots amazing video, and its battery life, while a long way from being the best, is a huge improvement on last year’s flagship iPhones.
 
“If you’re an Apple devotee and don’t mind spending as much on a phone each month as a secondhand family hatchback, then this is the phone to buy,” he concludes.   
 
Getting £50 off the iPhone 11 Pro may not be the biggest discount this Black Friday, but if you’ve been waiting to get hold of one, this could be as good as it gets until 2020. It’s up to you if you want to wait it out a bit longer.
