PlayStation VR bundles up to £91 off in Prime Day sales
Sony's VR headset bundles sell out fast, so nab one while they're cheap
Here’s a great reason to get into VR: Sony’s PlayStation VR bundles are currently on offer at Amazon during the Prime Day sales. The PSVR Starter Pack is now £180, down from £260; the Mega Pack is now £209, down from £300.

Both bundles provide everything you need to get started with PSVR, excluding the console itself; the PSVR Mega Pack also includes five extra games at no extra cost.
We like to think that the games have been purposefully chosen. Astro Bot Rescue Mission and PlayStation VR Worlds are both introductory experiences, full-blooded games in their own right that will introduce you to VR without overwhelming you.
The remaining three titles have been ported from regular old 2D – to impressive effect. WipEout Omega Collection is a sci-fi racing simulator that was destined to be great fun in VR. Doom VFR is a demon-slaying tribute to the best bits of the original game and Skyrim VR is an entire fantasy epic playable in virtual reality.

Obviously, you’ll have to spend vast sums to purchase all five of these games individually. Even if one or two of them don’t tickle your fancy, there’s always eBay and the PlayStation Store has more than 200 VR games on offer. There’s plenty to choose from.
Both bundles include the headset itself, plus all the necessary cables, a pair of headphones, PlayStation Eye camera and PlayStation VR Worlds. Absurdly, neither bundle includes a pair of PlayStation Move controllers, but they’re far from essential.
All you need to do to get started is plug the headset into a PS4 or PS4 Pro console (and put it on, obviously). The deal lasts for the duration of Prime Day (15 to 16 July) so don’t delay – these PSVR bundles usually sell like hotcakes.
Just be aware that you will need to be an Amazon Prime member to make use of the deal. You can sign up using the link below.
