Our best Black Friday deals under £100
Looking for a bargain under £100? Look no further…
Black Friday may still be over a week away, but growing interest in pre-Christmas bargains means that the festivities now stretch out over weeks. With that in mind, here are the current best deals ahead of Black Friday itself, for those who have capped their budgets strictly at the £100 mark.
1. GHD Original Hair Straightener – £76.30
GHD hair straighteners, I’m reliably informed, are practically never on offer. So if you have hair that’s hard to tame, this is a great time to get one of the best set of straighteners in the business. Usually going for over £100, you can get them from John Lewis for just £76.30.
2. RHA T10i noise-cancelling in-ear headphones – £58.95 (was £149.95)
We gave these headphones a glowing five-star review at £150, so they’re something of a no-brainer at less than half of that. Brilliantly built and with great sound, it’s hard to think of a better headphone bargain under £100 this Black Friday.
3. BT Whole Home Mesh WiFi (two dishes) – £94.99
Do you suffer from WiFi black spots in your home? The BT Whole Home Mesh WiFi solution could well solve your problems. Just plug one dish into your router, and another within range and your internet will magically be both stronger and faster. This is the two-dish pack, but you can buy additional ones should you like. Our review.
4. Withings / Nokia Body+ smart scale – £59.95 (save £30)
Tracking your weight can be a drag. If you want to find out if you’re really making a difference over a prolonged period, you have to note your weight every single day. This smart scale from Nokia and Withings takes the pain away, automatically syncing all your important data – weight, fat percentage, bone mass, muscle mass – straight to your smartphone over WiFi. Doesn’t hurt that it looks stylish and is down to £59.95 during the Black Friday sales.
5. Amazon Echo Plus (first generation) with Philips Hue bulb – £89.99 (save £58.99)
If you’re looking to dip your toes in the smarthome waters, this deal on an Amazon Echo is a great way to start. The Echo Plus had a built-in smart home hub for Zigbee-powered devices, and this even comes with a Philips Hue white light bulb to get you started with the “Alexa, turn off the lights” command.
Yes, it’s been superseded by the second-generation model of Echo Plus, but the differences aren’t that great and a £58.99 saving certainly isn’t to be sneezed at.

6. Philips Hue starter kit and Google Home Mini bundle – £79.99 (save £105)
What’s better than a single smart bulb? Two smart bulbs, of course – and the Philips Hue starter kit is capable of changing to any of 16 million colours, all with a voice command via the included Google Home Mini.
Yes, the Google Home Mini isn’t our favourite smart speaker (its lack of aux output means you’re stuck with pretty limited sound quality, unless you also buy a Chromecast Audio), but for getting started with a smart home, it’s hard to beat.

7. 2018 Echo Dot with Philips Hue starter kit – £59.99 (save £49.99)
Like the Google Home Mini deal above, this also gives you access to two bulbs with 16 million colours. This, of course, can be controlled by the bundled 2018 Echo Dot which improves upon its predecessor in every way imaginable. An absolute bargain at this price.
It’s listed as out of stock right now, but Amazon says it will dispatch as soon as it’s back in, so don’t let that stop you filling your boots.
8. Amazon Echo Dot (third generation) – £24.99 (was £49.99)
If you just want the digital assistant without the smart home extras, of course, you can do that too. The latest, greatest Echo Dot is half price, coming in at £24.99. Bargainlicious.
9. Tassimo by Bosch Happy TAS1002GB Coffee Machine – £29 (was £99.99)
Are you ready to take your hot drink making to the next level with Tassimo pods? Just buy the capsule of drink that you want, from one of 36 varieties, put it in and let the machine do the work.
This coffee machine started out at £100, so at a whisper under £30 it’s a superb impulse purchase for the coffee lover in your life.

10. Garmin Forerunner 30 – £91.99 (was £129.99)
A GPS running watch for under £100? Yes, it’s possible. It may not be the most feature-packed wearable out there, but it’s a very likeable watch in its own right, and at nearly £40 cheaper than when we gave it a glowing review, this is an absolute steal for those looking to beat their PB.
11. Huawei Band 2 – £35.99 (was £79.99)
We haven’t reviewed the Huawei Band 2, but at this impulse-buy price, it’s worth a punt. Packing GPS, heart-rate tracking and with 5ATM waterproofing, on paper, it has pretty much everything the casual fitness fan could look for…
12. Fitbit Charge 2 – £79.99 (was £119.99)
If you prefer the familiarity of a Fitbit, then this offer on the Fitbit Charge 2 is definitely worth a look. No, it doesn’t have GPS, so you’ll need to run with your phone, but if all your friends use a Fitbit and you want to compete, then this is a great way to do it. It still features prominently on our ‘best fitness trackers‘ list, despite being replaced by the Charge 3.
13. 2018 Kindle Paperwhite – £89.99 (was £119.99)
The new Kindle Paperwhite has only been out for a few weeks, and it’s already down £30 – £89.99 for the WiFi version with lockscreen adverts. As I wrote in my review, it’s a superb device, managing to improve on the already excellent previous model with waterproofing and synced Audible support: features previously only available on the luxurious Kindle Oasis.
14. 4K Now TV Smart Box with passes (was £49.99, now £24.99)
If you’re looking for a video streamer capable of outputting 4K, then the Now TV Smart Box is an excellent purchase, especially if you want to catch up on Sky programming. This particular bundle comes with a month of Sky Cinema, Entertainment and Kids TV, which typically would set you back £29.96. Throw in a day of Sky Sports (£7.99) and of course the hardware itself, and you’re looking at an incredible bargain.
15. Parrot Mambo Mission Drone bundle (was £219, now £99)
This is an incredible deal. If you were struggling to come up with Christmas or were looking to kick-start your flying career, this Parrot drone bundle is fantastic. For just £99 (down from £219) you get the Mambo drone, a set of FPV goggles, a mounted cannon with balls and a grabber. A fantastic deal.
16. Canon Zoemini Photo Printer (was £49.99, now £24.99)
This small-sized photo printer is perfect for those who love taking photos. You don’t even need to own a DLSR – by connecting it to the app on your phone you can print straight from your phone. Neat. It’s available in different colours and now at just £99, down from £120, it’s a must-buy.
17. Google Home Hub (was £139, now £99)
We reviewed the Home Hub at £139, and now, it’s available for under £100. This little smart home device has a 7in display and a speaker around the back – you can visualise and hear what you search for with your voice.
